Frankie Miller: The Jealous Kind from Diamond Dave

After Neighbour Dave dropped by (he’s a Diamond tha’ knows and lives across the fields from me!) to show his appreciation for the The Jealous Kind posting of the Bobby Charles song a la Clarence Frogman Henry he minded me that others had covered it too . . .

Not least the guy with one of the most rocking voices to ever hit the stage and who we don’t, or haven’t, posted enough of,  one Mr Frankie Miller

From 1982 Loreley Festival.
Frankie Miller: Vocals/guitar.
Ed Deane: Lead guitar.
Mick Weaver: Keyboards.
Chrissie Srewart: Bass.
Malcom Mortimore: Drums.
"The Jealous Kind" written by the late Bobby Charles Guidry.

  1. More Mr Miller? Oh, yes please! Did you notice the lead player had a left-handed strat but strung upside down? Strange, eh?!?!? Cheers neighbour. DD

  2. I’ll get on it but thanks for sending the link. I confess I had forgotten quite how great he was (love that voice!). I didn’t notice the guitar but will have another look. It is always worth remembering our beloved Jimi could do this too as technically he was NOT left handed but truly ambidextrous and could play the guitar strung either way! Which is quite something (he wrote right handed so he was a complete one off in that regard too!)
