FRANZ MARC

if you like Paul Klee you would love contemporary Franz Marc along with Kandinsky and Klee and August Macke they formed 'Der Blau Reiter' Marc regularly sent hand painted postcards to friends and family and members of the artistic circle . Aligned to 'Die Brucke' and lasting only a few years both were often compared to the Fauves (or Wild Beasts!) but are loosely collected under the term German Expressionism
