RIP TORN

I hadn't realised Rip Torn had died and he was a much featured character actor {trained as a dancer with Martha Graham and acting studies Lee Strasburg in the Actor's Studio} appearing in many of the films I enjoyed over the years and as a youngster always wanted to know how you got a name like that (sic!). From Francis Ford Coppola's 'You're A Big Boy Now' featuring the sixties faves The Lovin' Spoonful to 'The Man Who Fell to Earth' with David Bowie to 'Men In Black' (which I loved when it came out) to the Larry Sanders show, he could do no wrong as far as I was concerned
He will be missed . . . . . .

Night Zed! We'll miss you
