A SNEAK PEAK AT THE BEATLES' 'GET BACK'

Film director Peter Jackson has offered fans a teaser of the delayed Beatles film 'The Beatles: Get Back'. The film is a reworking of 1970's 'Let It Be' and is delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jackson reveals that they are about "halfway through" the edit. The film is expected to be released in August 2021. Watch the sneak peak video below:

'I WANT TO SEE REAL CHANGE'

David Byrne has shared his hopes for a post-Donald Trump America, though admits it is "too early to celebrate". Byrne was speaking at the release of his new Spike Lee-directed concert film American Utopia. "For me Trump was not so much a shock; we knew who he is," Byrne told the NME. "He was around New York before that, in the reality show [The Apprentice], we knew what kind of character he was." Byrne then warned that it is "too early to celebrate" following Trump's loss to Joe Biden in last month's election, discussing the current Republican control of the Senate. "[This] is what happened with Obama..." Byrne said. "I want to see real change happen."

 DYLAN'S 1970 COPYRIGHT COLLECTION TO BE RELEASED ON CD

A very limited quantity of this Bob Dylan 3CD set has already been released through Badlands Records in the UK but now there's news that a more widely circulated version of the 3CD set will also be released on February 26, 2021. Copyright collections are unheard music that an artist has never officially put out for sale and hence their copyright will lapse and the music will enter the public domain unless commercially released before the 50 year time limit for copyrights. This 1970 collection rounds up all the outtakes from the 'New Morning' and 'Self Portrait' sessions that were not already available on 'The Bootleg Series Vol 10: Another Self Portrait' along with a legendary session with George Harrison. There are 74 tracks in total and nine of those feature George Harrison.

VAN MORRISON'S FOURTH ANTI-LOCKDOWN SONG!

The latest and fourth anti-lockdown song written by Van Morrison will be performed by guest Eric Clapton. Stand And Deliver is sung by Clapton. Announcing the song, Clapton said: 

"It is deeply upsetting to see how few gigs are going ahead because of the lockdown restrictions. There are many of us who support Van and his endeavours to save live music, he is an inspiration! We must stand up and be counted because we need to find a way out of this mess. The alternative is not worth thinking about. Live music might never recover." 

Morrison had previously shared three anti-lockdown protest songs, in which he accused the government of being "fascist bullies". 'No More Lockdown', 'Born to Be Free' and 'As I Walked Out' were written in opposition to the government's coronavirus restrictions.

All proceeds from the song will go to Morrison's Lockdown Financial Hardship Fund, which helps musicians facing financial insecurity as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

Can someone please take these two muppets to a NHS Hospital for a visit! Talk to the staff and those at the front line if only to stop them whingeing about their lack of access to MONEY!
