Now we're talking! Let's have some Bobby for the weekend! Thanks to brother Jobe over at The Voodoo Wagon we have this curio!
As he says
"I'm pretty sure this is a Voodoo Wagon exclusive. First off Bernalillo is a small town in New Mexico. This was recorded at an Native American casino. Second, normally I don't like to post audience recordings. However this one features a couple of songs Zimmy rarely played. So this is more for it's historical content than something you would throw on at your next pot party. So the recording is not that great but it's not that bad either...it's a F***ING BOOT so what do you expect.
So ENJOY OR NOT."
Well we DID!
'To Be Alone With You'! Awesome! Adjust your graphic equaliser if you must (I just turned it UP!) but this is well worth having!
It rocked my socks!
Bob Dylan Live in Bernalillo OCT 25th 2002 - Voodoo Wagon
- Sam Shepard's play The Late Henry Moss is set "on the outskirts of" Bernalillo.
For interest this is where Bernalillo is in the heart of the old Pueblo Nation and the 'town' (sic) has a population in 2002 half the size of the little Oxfordshire village I live in!
Jobe is also right from what a cursory search by yours truly can ascertain but Bob's Boots doesn't even mention it! Expecting Rain doesn't have it listed and what scant imagery there is misspells Bernalillo! Note Jobe is correct and has the correct date as October the 25th 2002 and the night before he played Tucson and the night after Denver! Similar playlists but this is well worth checking and I found it highly listenable and heaven only knows I sure as eggs is eggs have a whole lotta worse ones!! Enjoy!Barnalillo really?
Thanks for this one!
