Just because . . . . . this showed up in my algorithm! And quite right too, Billy Connolly ( And John Bonham!?!) introduce Rory Gallagher on ‘Alright Now’ . . ."a little bit of the green into the blues"!
Love the audience reaction! HILARIOUS!
Turn it UP!
LOUD!
What an AMAZING find!!
ReplyDeleteWell done....
The only other guitar player that I want to listen to, that I can think of, that's still around is Robin Trower. My god Rory was such a talent. I love Hendrix too, but I think the lack of a varied set list (live) is what has led me to pass on much of the early stuff. By 1970 he was incorporating new song into the mix but most of those bootleg recordings sound horrible. One exception is the officially released "Songs For Groovy Children" which can be found at certain sites.
ReplyDeleteLove this one and glad you enjoyed it gentlemen!
ReplyDeleteYou are always welcome as you well know and Brother Jobe I take your point about Song For Groovy Children . . . . . .
