This is great and I first found Jason Isbell through the extraordinary John Prine. In his later years John was particularly keen on discovering and/or supporting younger artists (Jason here, Kurt Vile, Kacey Musgraves, Sturgil Simpson, Amanda Shires and the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach to name but a few) Another fine find from Silent Way over at Floppy Boot Stomp and radio broadcast quality, from Carlos Santana and Jeff Beck to Jason Isbell the sites’ on fire!
