It’s close . . . . . . but
Personally I need the guitar breaks to be note perfect like the original. If everyone else can nail it why can’t the guitars? Heck even Phil Collins can nail the drum part. I would have preferred Ringo on it but hey as a jobbing drummer he does alright!(sic) Paul is the closest on lead break guitar which is odd and the ‘guitar legends’ get nowhere near the ‘correct’ notes, improvise fine but it is indelibly imprinted in every fans' memory so why couldn’t they learn it?
Knopfler, Clapton, et al and only Paul nails his part! (as in playing EVERYTHING!) if you ever doubted he was a musical genius this proves it!
still fun mind and Paul’s voice is up to snuff despite some phrasing being slightly different, he’s allowed, having written it!
I’ll shut up now . . . .enjoy I did . . . . . . no seriously I DID!
