"I saw Maria McKee during her first solo tour, leading in for Neil Young at the Palladium on September 6, 1989.  The tune Shelter, written while she was fronting Lone Justice,  has every quality of a number 1 single, yet, unforynately,  it barely cracked the top 40. 

 In any event, her's Maria just a few months after I saw her live, in Germany, on November 11, 1989, 34 years aggo today. And yes - she plays Shelter!"
