Lovely Annie once interviewed the brilliant artist Graham Dean and me at Brighton’s City Art Gallery’s Don Van Vliet show Stand Up To Be Discontinued and BBC2 decided to not broadcast it (probably unbroadcastable!!) but Graham introduced me to her as an 'expert on Beefheart' (which I clearly ain’t!) we laughed . . . a lot! I was so pleased to meet her. She was just such a sheer enthusiast! Fascinated to talk about Beefheart and asked question after searching question, she was in short a delight Legend!
