Chris Youlden - Springtime In Texas | Floppy Boot Stomp (A Brother Jobe production)

Chris Youlden - Springtime In Texas (Unreleased 1990 Album)

A Jobe Special

Jobe at Floppy Boot Stomp says "Damn.......Chris is gone. Now I loves me some
Savoy Brown without Chris, but if I want the best version (IMO) of Savoy Brown
I go to the albums he's on. Can't find a lot of info on this, and at first I didn't think
it was Chris Youlden, but no, no from what I can ascertain this is Chris with
Top Topham (from The Yardbirds) fronting a band called Bluesprint.
Any and all info you can provide would help on this post."

This is great and where do the boys find these. (I couldn’t!)  really great

production values and every track interesting and worth checking out.

Chris is another sad loss to the world of blues and R’n’B not sure why he

didn’t have more influence and success despite his heights with Savoy

Brown in their prime period . . . . . check out the Trick Bag version I

posted the other day . . . .he was still working  in 2018

where the live at The Troubadour set comes from . . . . .
