Put on your dancing shoes! Another one from my series on R&B/Doo-Wop groups that kept going and recorded some great stuff later on. This one is more than a little unusual - Cool Jerk was a hit for the Capitols in 1966, and here the Coasters add a latin boogaloo flavor courtesy of the great Larry Harlow. I’m really loving it, even the groovy flute.

The Cool Jerk original was a hit down our youth club and loads of us bought the single from the The Capitols in ‘66

but this is worth a look and a listen too!
