That iconic, perfectly delivered line carried enormous power...and man, did the Eagles get screwed by it! Almost overnight, it turned one of our biggest and most celebrated bands into a punchline, distilling everything they ever created down into one easily quotable joke. This was a band that defined the coolness of Los Angeles in the 70s, featured gorgeous 5-part male harmonies, and wrote hit...after hit...after hit!. Suddenly, in the increasingly cynical 90s,it became cooler to hate rather than appreciate them.

But if we could lose the cynicism and listen with fresh ears there’s a whole lot to love and discover about them. So dammit, we’re here to say “we love the f**kin’ Eagles, man!” and we don’t care who knows it. "

Fair enough! When you can sing and play as good as this who am I to disagree!  😏
