Grandmagonewild [GRANDAD TOO!These two photos appear to have been taken during the same outing in the 1930s. The clothes, the rocks, and several familiar faces all match. Mama, my grandfather, and Uncle Johnnie are among the group.They clearly understood the assignment. In one photo, everyone is arranged across the rocks in a dramatic pose. In the other, they are crowded together, smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves. They made the rocks their stage and gave the camera two completely different scenes.I love seeing my family this way.🎵 Music Note: Slim Gaillard and Slam Stewart were the jazz duo known as Slim & Slam, celebrated for their humor, rhythm, and playful performances. They recorded “Flat Foot Floogie” in 1938, and its lively energy fits this family outing perfectly.
