I may have mentioned before going see Tinariwen with dear pals who offered me a spare ticket and they proved to be one of the last bands seen locally but man they were LOUD! They operated a HUGE ceramic (sic?) drum amongst the biggest I have ever seen that frankly I felt in my spine if not other internal organs! AWESOME! Literally . . .this in memory of the wonderful Dave Attwooll (poet, publisher and drummer) and for his lovely wife Trish (an ex-colleague at MOMA) and their wonderful daughter Kate who became a colleague working with the homeless later on . . . . .this is for them
