Bonnie Raitt pays tribute to John Pine

Bonnie Raitt notes on John Prine's facebook page today would have been John Prine's 75th birthday that she last sang with him covering his classic country/folk song 'Angel From Montgomery' at the American Music Association* 18th Annual Honours airing on November 23, 2019

Again I have mentioned before that I came across John's work through Bonnie's covering this song and simultaneously Nanci Griffith singing 'Speed of The Sound of Loneliness' as two favourite 'country' singer songwriters that it would be two women who introduced me speaks volumes I think
