They will be missed
despite what all the truly awful trolls that totally ruined the comments section the chaps in Singapore could have cared less. It certainly wasn’t the reason they stopped posting and blogging. Such narcissistic self centred onanism is hilariously funny most visitors not giving two hoots about the comments but availed themselves of an extraordinary range of music from Brian Eno to Captain Beefheart, Sunday jazz posts to classical concerts, old out of print musics of whatever kind, country to punk, to the latest gigs at Glastonbury Dua Lipa to Elton John, Dolly Parton to Billie Eilish, and much much more besides. If you click on the link to Big O in my labels section you may find something of just one visitors tastes but noting the links don’t work anymore.
So long guys and
Thanks for your post. Big O's closing leaves a huge hole. Hopefully someone will pick up where they left off.
ReplyDeleteI agree ronin and thanks for your comments. No small thing to be fair to replace quite the full range of what they posted and I doubt we will see the like again but hey . . . . the other blogs will just have to up their game hey?
ReplyDeleteThanks as always for dropping by
Despite the odd trash comments from time to time, the Big O will be sadly missed. Thanks for the ride folks.
ReplyDeleteYou’re right Dell and we will surely sorely miss them. As a gazetteer of music (and politics too) they were an indispensable visit but we all getting’ older and more crotchety and less able so it was understandable I guess. The guys there had been through a lot and we are the poorer for them going
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments
Always welcome
