Happy birthday to Rod Stewart, born in Highgate, London on this day in 1945.
Rod the Mod used to be good before his voice got shot and he tried turning into Matt Monroe! I once hitchhiked across country miles to see the Faces play at where I eventually ended up going to art school! They were introduced (by Rod) as ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’Matteus Rosé Ltd!’

The best song Macca wrote since leaving the Fab4 - by a mile - IMHO. Probably this song and performance were both knights at their peak! Cheers neighbour. DD
