My dear father used to love to read to us out loud and had taken public speaking classes and had a rich voice (though not as musical as his beloved brother Victor who’s wonderful baritone vocal talents extended to singing with Male Voice choirs and it always held me enthralled)
Amongst the many things Dad read to us of a winters evening was this from his beloved Dylan Thomas ‘ A Child’s Christmas in Wales’ and of course Charles Dickens’ 'Christmas Carol'
