This from John Prine’s Record label ‘Oh Boy’ : TODD SNIDER

It is quite astonishing to witness the scale of out pouring of grief about the terrible loss and violent end to our fellow musician Todd Snider but I found this one from ‘Oh Boy Records particularly moving

"It’s hard to accept that Todd Snider (@toddsniderlive ) is gone. It’s shocking, heartbreaking and feels so unfair. Todd meant so much to us here at Oh Boy on many different levels, it’s been a struggle for us to find the right words. So we will spend some time sharing memories, stories, pictures, and of course songs over the coming days.

One thing that we’ve never really properly acknowledged is that working with Todd allowed us to become a “real” record label - not just a vehicle for releasing John Prine music. He laid the foundation for much of what we do now in supporting the next generation of performing songwriters.

On a personal level, he was so kind and generous with everyone here (and with all the Prine family), especially after John passed."

We already miss that smile so much.

Rest in peace Todd.
