The tragic story of Francesca Woodman is a difficult one but I post this here because I did not know about her doing any colour work and this struck me. Check her out but the prolific  production of her extraordinary body of work seems staggering as I keep coming across more and more. But her short life (23) before despairing of getting any support is a difficult read, I adore her work and she needs to be remembered

I have been fascinated by the work of photographer Francesca Woodman and how prolific she was before taking her own life at a mere 22 after trying to get subsidy and patronage to her work ever since discovering her extraordinary work documenting her inner life 

Hugely autobiographical almost seemingly documenting every day (or minute?) she seemed so prolific

I am absolutely convinced she would have gone on to bigger and better things and in the school of self exploration a la Duane Michals, her untimely death left us bereft of a true artist.
