Came across this from old Mojo Magazine one off. . . . . . beautiful stuff and just joined a Facebook Nick Drake club so hopefully . . . . . . . . mo’ stuff?

This is a beautiful cover of "Fly" from the 2018 "Green Leaves - Nick Drake Covered" compilation, put together by MOJO magazine. Bridget has rarely recorded since the 70's, so it is very special. While Nick's version is the earnest plea of a young man, Bridget's is the resigned sigh of a woman in her years. A truly great cover version brings out something new in a song, and this is one.
