Patti Smith Group | LIVE in NYC NY 1975 - RADIO BROADCAST WBAI-FM - VOODOO WAGON

Now this is a doozie and another in my thesis about early boots and airplay, soundboards etc, the sound quality of bootleg discs back from the day. This from 1975 her blazing onto the scene with her debut Horses album I never quite recovered from!! This is bright and 'toppy' but none the worse for that! It is highly listenable and Patti and The Patti Smith Group at its original opening storming peak!

Patti Smith Group - Tower Theatre, Upper Darby, PA. 1979 - FLOPPY BOOT STOMP

Well seems like complaints about weblogs can cause temporary removals without public discussion but suffice to say they are back and to celebrate the return of Floppy Boot Stomp and Voodoo Wagon . . . here are links to todays artefact

The glorious Patti Smith Band. A life long Patti Smith fan from the release of Horses when still at college to her artwork and exhibitions and her later post-family life seclusion to her resurgence, support for Bob Dylan and fan turned punk rocker turned Christian mystic! Here in her prime and a bright but clear radio broadcast quality and highly listenable double set.
