Not entirely sure how I missed this as I usually check in daily with my range of
weblogs and the HQ of Floppy Boot Stomp and the Voodoo Wagon are always
central to that but nearly missed this updated post from 2016 from the Boss at FBS!
I had been AFK and only to have some check up at the docs and yet more
bloods taken . . . a regular occurrence, you’d think they’d got enough by now;
I’m surprised there’s any left! But the phlebotomist said to call her The Vampire
so that may explain it ( I like her!)

Hey ho! Annnnyhoo here we are ‘ave at it!

Elvis Costello Old Waldorf SF 1977 (late show) - FLOPPY BOOT STOMP

If you tried out the early set of this from The Boss at Floppy Boot Stomp you know it is well worth having. It is a tad’ hot’ for me but nothing a bit of knob twiddle twaddling ( technical term!) won’t hurt
Highly listenable and FLAC format to boot!

Musigny23 notes:
In Sept '89 I was able to make DAT copies of about 20 items from KSAN
reels. In the early '90s I did some DAT trades and since then they
appear to have circulated far and wide. I've seen these items pop up
here a number of times and the uploader had gotten them in trade and
did not know the original lineage. I thought I would get busy and
upload them myself since I put these in circulation to begin with and
I have the original DATs that they all come from.

Have at it! Avail yourself, go on pop on over, you won’t regret it!

On Friday, November 10, 1967 The Jimi Hendrix Experience, consisting of Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding, played live in the Vitus Studio in Bussum, The Netherlands.
The recordings were to be broadcasted in the TV show "Hoepla", by VPRO Television.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience were in the Netherlands to perform on the " Hippy Happy Beurs"in the Ahoy Hallen in Rotterdam, later that evening.

On the festival they shared the stage with Dutch bands The Flower and The Motions.

Other bands to perform on the festival which was held from Friday the 10th till Tuesday the 14th were :

The Spencer Davis Goup, The Soft Machine, The Pink Foyd, The Golden Earrings, The Buffoons, Keith West and Tomorrow, Q65, Group 1850, Armand, Daddy' s Act, The Shoes, Geno Washington and his Ram Jam Band, Rob Hoeke, Cuby + The Blizzards,
The Bee Gees were to perform on the second day but they couldn' t come and were to be replaced by the Kinks, who couldn't make it either and in the end The Spencer Davis Group replaced the Bee Gees.

The band arrived in the studio around 11 o'clock AM. Afer The Experience played their set the band changed their sets of clothes and played Purle Haze again, so VPRO could use that for another screening of "Hoepla".

Unfortunately that never occurred. Here you can hear those versions.

The Boss is BACK!

FLOPPY BOOT STOMP/ VOODOO WAGON

THE BOSS RETURNS!

So El Bossi di Tutti Di Cappi is back with us after a little sojourn away that he could really have done without (well maybe not - but all has gone well I hear - you heard it here first in fact!! Thanks Jobe!), but he has recovered and is back amongst us with his floppy boots stomping and careering around on his voodoo wagon!

Check this action!

Now there's a gig I'd like to have gone to and despite going to the First Reading Festival (in the city) I missed this one. . . .
Noting the appearance of Keith Allen the actor who is currently just starring in a masterpiece from ITV TV Drama 'The Pembrokeshire Murders' based on a true story and a towering performance from him as per usual!

Happy Birthday to THEM!!

Voodoo Wagon was started January 11, 2009!!

Welcome back Boss and hope you are fully recovered! (Jobe on the naughty step of course . . . . I think he should stay there myself but hey . . . . . . .  He SO NAUGHTY!!! 😉
