 You could do worse than take the Cadillac off the driveway and go for a spin down Route 66 to the Motel, it has a bar and a library, shares records and will pour you a fifth of liquor if you’re that way inclined

Why lately your bar tenders Jobe and Jeremiah have been working endlessly to bring us loads of goodies from the earliest Doors efforts Peters Green and Townshend, The Cars, The Strawbs and Bob Marley to The 801, Blondie, Warren Zevon and even the Soundtrack to The Wizard of Oz never mind Desi Arnaz (sic) and if that hasn’t whet your whistle then there’s todays library loans; the Kerouac paperback interviews ‘Safe In Heaven Dead’ (now exchanging hands in the UK for nearly £700!) and long out of print, sounds like Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives also long out of print over here and is there anyone Marty DIDN’T play with from Emmylou to John Prine et al you might even bump into Linda Thompson. . . . . . avail yourselves. I double dog dare ya!

Currently there are over 80 new additions to the shelf stacks this month and reference section. I am currently listening to Mike Heron rarity 1998's 'Conflict of Emotions' [collecting his work as I do and this is long out of print], reading Rock n Roll Myths: The True Stories Behind the Most Infamous Legends - Gary Graff & Daniel Durchholz although someone must have taken it out before me as there are obscene pencil marks in the margins . . . . the collected Who Singles and a plethora of Steve Miller . . . . what's not to like?

There's loads to choose from raging from blues classics from brother Jobe like Blind Lemon and Charlie Patton, Smiley Lewis to Eric Clapton and Taj Mahal items expanding (we have had lots before! and Stevie Winwood and The Trucks band and all sorts are covered in the new additions to the shelves . . . . . . . . . 

.Jeremiah the Bullfrog has added Ian Dury biogs to Rilke on August Rodin (serious, you arty people!) I am busy reading the J.R.Lewis guide to Cults, Sects, And New Religions in his encyclopaedia (seriously!)
