Oh my! Hard to beat this piece of music with ANYTHING. ! Fairport 1969 and the three albums with Sandy Denny singing and her and Richard writing and arranging trad material. Those three would all be very very high on my list of favourites and Unhalfbricking was the first I owned picked up in the summer from a stall in one of Sheffield's old markets. The bloke always seemed to have new copies of new releases at a very competitive prices (wink). As someone who used to have review copies to (ahem) offload later in the 70s I finally realised how he'd managed it. This track broke everything open for electric "folk" music. Outstanding
Indeed came across Unhalfbricking on release too and it haunts me still; such a very particular musical vibe. Fascinating to hear your start with the Richard T, Sandy and FC start . . .still one of the happiest festivals at Cropredy we ever went to . . . (Richard was playing . . . . . the little village is relatively nearby and I should have gone so much more!) Thanks as ever for dropping by with your reflections Sealyman its always a pleasure

Fact: I've never been to a music festival.

Guilty as charged
