Hello How are you doing? At the time of writing this, I'm sitting at a cafe in Dalston, London drinking a Kenyan pour over and eating eggs and soldiers. I just arrived back in the UK after a 4 week tour here and in the EU with my pals, Rob, Alex, Liz and Kempy. It's so hard saying goodbye to my touring family. Mary Chapin Carpenter calls it "crossing the rickety bridge" - that's exactly how it feels. This tour has been epic in terms of the show, the fun, distances, connection, amount of cheese consumed, snow, love. The crowds have been beautiful! Whilst on tour, I had the chance to write what is my second blog post. This time I've focused on track one of Fragile as Humans: 'With Small We Start'. It includes some pictures of the farmhouse I grew up in and my dad, as well as a poem, and a very early demo of the song in its infancy. |
