Might start the day (week - ED!) with some Bert as we finished last night (week - ED!)
Bert Jansch - Blues Run The Game
always know that wherever you are blues run the game . . .
Dusty says: Scottish folk hero Bert Jansch displays his evocative acoustic guitar skills and vocal grace on Jackson C. Frank`s "Blues Run The Game" for Dusty Wright's One-Takes.
One-Takes are a series of songs by artists you know, should know, or will know very soon. Here's my interview with Bert:
• Bert Jansch - The Dusty Wright Show
Bert means a great deal to me and when I was starting to lose friends and acquaintances to drugs (specifically heroin and latterly too many clients to number to heroin and alcohol often combined to deadly effect) his song Needle of Death proved almost unbearably true

Must confess I heard this by Bert first. Here he's looking gnarled enough to sing this with the world weariness of experience. Jackson must have been about 21 when he wrote and recorded it. Just remarkable.
Love a bit of Bert. Makes it look so easy and effortless. Nice one Andy.
BTW, knowing your love for all strange guitar related things. Don't know if you've seen this guy before. Don't know how he does it - even after he's explained it to Will!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_hplg_ZwAQ
