George Harrison The Art Of Dying - Another re-Boot request from HQ at FLOPPY BOOT STOMP | a Brother Jobe Special

George Harrison The Art Of Dying

@ 224 Kbps

Another re-Boot request from HQ at FLOPPY BOOT STOMP

a Brother Jobe Special

JOBE Says: REBOOTED BY REQUEST. FIRST POSTED 10-18-11

O.K. knuckleheads here it is, my first post here at our new/old site 5 discs of Georgie Porgie for your listening pleasure. You may have this then again you may not.
One thing that has always puzzled me is why did John and Paul feel the song All Things Must Pass wasn't worthy of inclusion on Let It Be. Hell it's a better song than Across The Universe or Dig It or even For You Blue. The versions I've heard of All Things Must Pass with John and Paul doing the harmonizing background vocals blows away the songs I've mentioned. Anyway see scans for details

Wire - Graham's Practice Tape | VOODOO WAGON

 Wire - Graham's Practice Tape

another brother

jobe special

Jobe says: This is pretty much Pink Flag with subtle differences, you'll have to pick em out!

Regulars will remember me banging on about meeting Graham (Lewis) and Bruce {Gilbert} with their artist pal Russell Mills when they did an installation piece at MOMAOxford and Wire reformed to play a gig there during the MOMA close down for refurbishment! Don’t think it was ever used as a concert venue before (or since!) although some musicians played in the basement [Lol Coxhill and Veryan Weston I clearly recall] and there were performance artists who used the Top Gallery but not bands as such. Graham and Bruce were great company and we laughed . . . a lot!

 I Loved them

Russell too . . .famed for his work on Brian Eno and extraordinarily beautiful collage/montage type artwork

So this is of great interest to Wire aficionados

Lovely boys!

Floppy Boot Stomp - A Brother Jobe Special

These two (wait for the other inna minit!) recordings are both a bit ‘bright’ if you ask me (nobody asked? ED)
and you know what that's what an equaliser is for so have a tinker (can you say that? - isn’t that racist now? - ED) err its fine it means fiddle about with!? (are you SURE!? - doesn’t sound right to me - ED)
