Now I have been following and admiring from afar young (sic) Billy Strings for a few years now and always enjoy his wondrous playing. . . here he is with Chris Thile who I am ashamed to say I did not know Superb Stuff and my more serious Sunday Musics (good grief these boys can PLAY!)

Doc’s Guitar/Black Mountain Rag | Collaborations | Tommy Emmanuel & Billy Strings

Another thanks to Diamond Dave  for introducing me to another site ( and appreciating the Tommy Emmanuel) such that he posted me in the direct of an album of Tony playing with a range of heroes (his and mine I assume) Here with a Doc Watson classic both Accomplice One and Two are still available but check out

as always with Doc Watson numbers,  I dedicate this to the memory of my brother Steve who LOVED Doc Watson and sadly didn’t live to hear bluegrass wonders like Billy and wonderful all rounders like Tommy
