It’s #TBT to 15 July 1978, and a clip of Ian Dury and the Blockheads performing ‘What a Waste’ for the BBC’s Seaside Special, filmed in a big top on Torre Abbey Meadows, Torquay. Ian and the band released ‘What a Waste’ a few months earlier on Stiff Records, with the song reaching No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart
