Lovers LeapingOllie HalsallLovers LeapingThe YouTube poster says : "Those familiar with the 'Caves' album (later re-released as 'Lovers Leaping') may be aware that the song 'Travelling Show' was later re-recorded by John Otway, with Ollie providing a new backing of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards. Otway's version included a superb guitar solo. I had previously done a fairly crude edit of the two versions to incorporate both this and the longer intro. Now, Axel Werlin has gone one better and replaced Otway's vocal with Ollie'd from the original demo. Luckily, this process has retained the subtle synth parts."
