Kathryn Williams & Withered Hand - ‘Arrow’

Kathryn Williams a fellow scouser, of whom I am a big fan, has a new album out and can’t wait to get it but gonna have to wait for funds into the vaults!

This is another collaborative effort with ‘Withered Hand’ aka Dan Wilson (Scottish fellah) who I am ashamed to say I did not know . . . . .so far into the album it is haunting and strong but delicate and wistful too by turn . . . . . . now I need to say I don’t understand what the inside info is on being called "withered hand”* (he doesn’t appear to have one) and get it is some kind of insider deal, if you know you know and if’n you don’t you’re not ‘in’ on it! which I hate and he has a perfectly serviceable name so please use it!. . . . it is only that which has stopped me buying it on the day of release back in January!! 

the only thing I can think is it some reference to religion and the healing by Jesus of the man with the withered hand and on a Sunday too (sic) and as Willson was brought up a Jehoavh’s Witness maybe that’s it no explanation anywhere I could be bothered to search for so it's anyone’s guess and I could care less . . . . .shame
