Friday ! YEEEEHAW - AMEROPHILES GET YOUR TEA TRAYS TUNED!

 MULE TRAIN!

BOB BLACKMAN

We just love Country Mewsic!

Gosh darned hecken ‘fresh! Darned tootin’!

Never let it be said that the Brits don’t take their Country Mewsic seriously!

N.B. Bob Blackman, a British television personality known for his appearances on 1970s light entertainment shows (such as Tiswas), famously sang "Mule Train" while repeatedly hitting himself on the head with a metal tray. He became a cult figure for this distinctive, comedic performance.

There's a theory that some footballers in the 1970's & 80's, who headed the football regularly, went on to have dementia/alzheimer's disease. Wonder if Bob also suffered from these dreadful diseases from doing this? Jeeziz! This was entertainment back in those days. I remember seeing him on Opportunity Knocks I think. and loved it. I must've matured!!! Thanks for the memories Andy. DD
