✦ 10 CAR PILE-UP David Byrne — vocals, acoustic and electric guitar George Porter Jr. — bass Jonathan Best — keyboards Oscar Salas — drums Bobby Allende — congas Héctor Rosado — timbales Ángel Fernández — musical director, trumpet José "Ite" Jerez — trumpet Lewis Kahn — trombone, violin Steve Sacks — alto sax ✦ ABOUT THE FILM The Uh-Oh tour caught Byrne five years out of Talking Heads and deep into Latin and Caribbean music. No rock band: a ten-piece with horns and Latin percussion. The band wears black — "a bunch of funeral directors", Byrne called them — and every light is white. "It could almost be a black-and-white film," he said. Byrne and Wild planned a different camera treatment for each song, decided in advance which ones not to shoot, and held the audience out of frame until late in the film: "I don't like a film telling me what I'm supposed to be feeling." Fifteen songs from a set that ran an hour and forty-five. Byrne opens alone and closes alone.
