I couldn’t watch this (or any ?! - ED) John Prine songs for the longest time after he died from complication over COVID-19
But thanks largely to Kurt Vile (and friends) who recorded their version of this great Prine masterpiece I was able to ease back in gently and now we can revisit these
even if a tear is raised from now and again
