Rod Stewart, Faces & Keith Richards perform “Twistin’ the Night Away” live on The Midnight Special (April 25, 1975) The Midnight Special
"Two British rock titans collide for pure late-night chaos! 🇬🇧🎸 Filmed live at London’s Kilburn State Gaumont Theatre during a special all-Faces broadcast, Rod Stewart and Faces welcome special guest Keith Richards to the stage for a raucous, high-energy finale performance of Sam Cooke’s classic, “Twistin’ the Night Away.” Trading guitar riffs with Ronnie Wood and sharing a mic with Stewart, Richards helps turn the London venue into an absolute rock-and-roll party.Trivia: This legendary concert appearance captured a key moment in rock history—Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood sharing the stage just as Wood was stepping in to tour with The Rolling Stones following Mick Taylor's departure. Wood officially joined the Stones shortly after, while Rod Stewart and Faces put on one of the most celebrated crossover jam sessions in The Midnight Special history." The Midnight Special
