🎸 Bob Dylan with Tom Petty – Just Like a Woman | Live Across the Borderline (1986)
A favourite story about George and I am sure I have posted this before but it never fails to make me smile
I found this too wandering around Facebook I think and it really got to me . . . . . . .
With thanks to the Facebook page of The Bob Dylan Fan Club
(www.thebobdylanfanclub.com)I love this song . . . . . . . amongst Tom’s very best and here I dedicate to the memory of Tim Leary

. . . . . . . coming down is the hardest thing . . . . . .
So back on the day of the 2nd of January we posted another tribute to George (Harrison) and it included the wonderful footage of him doing the great song Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea on ukulele with various pals (Jools, Ray, Joe etc etc)
so there is this from Tom Petty and the Ukulele story! . . . . . . . . . . . this makes me laugh so HARD!
For George here . . . . . . . . orginal posting
“I was having dinner with Jeff Lynne, he was having dinner with Roy Orbison and I said to Jeff ‘do you feel like coming along’ and he said ‘sure’.
Roy Orbison said ‘well if you do something give me a call’.
I went round to Tom Petty’s house to pick up my guitar which was at his house and he said ‘Oh I was wondering what I was going to do tomorrow’.
And the meantime we were, with such short notice, I didn’t know of any studio that I could find that quickly.
So I called Bob and he said ‘sure come on over’.”
