Before we say 'Cheerio!' to the weekend there is another gem from the boys over at Voodoo Wagon to mention

ELVIS COSTELLO

early gigs by Elvis are always worth collecting and to be fair all ROIOs of him don't stay around long thanks to his zealous label's actions [they usually get them taken down fairly swiftly] so this is worth reading about (ahem!)  . . . it is a reposting from ages ago so maybe it will stick around

Now apart from the fact that this is staggering quality for the period IMHO it should be said it is all one seamless file and whilst I find that irritating, it is not to be missed by true aficionados  If you have a PC or are operating earlier Mac Catalina upgrade with its pre 32 bit to 64 bit and any earlier OSX you should be able to edit this yourselves with something like Audacity if like me you would prefer to have it track by track. It is well worth it either way . . . . . . . .

Elvis Costello and The Attractions Winterland SF 1978 - Voodoo Wagon

Mitchell over there on the Wagon also posts this which is worth a go also . . . . . classic from 1983

So here's another period treat with Elvis on the John Peel show . .
