Quite but Gay had a number of really fine musicians on frequently! The Chieftains, Moving Hearts, The Pogues(!?), The Dubliners (of course) U2 repeatedly, Planxty, Sinead of course, Luka Bloom and his brother Christy Moore! Not to mention Tom Waits, Oasis and even The Beatles(!)
