ALBUMS THAT SHOULD EXIST EBBETS FIELD concerts (contd.) | Tom Waits - Ebbets Field, Denver, CO, 2-19-1975

Tom Waits - Ebbets Field, Denver, CO, 2-19-1975

Paul says: Here's yet another Ebbets Field radio broadcast. This one stars Tom Waits. I believe that, out of all of the sixty plus Ebbets Field recordings that I've found and am posting, Waits is the only one to have surviving recordings from different years - this one, and one from October 1974.

Waits' second album, "The Heart of Saturday Night," was released in October 1974, right around the time of his first Ebbets Field radio broadcast. His next album wouldn't be released until late 1975. So many of the songs here appeared on that other broadcast too. But there are a good number that were only on this one.

This album is 48 minutes long.
