David Bowie - Love Is Lost [James Murphy - LCD Sound system - remix] 2013 | Mirco Russo Bowie-ism

Might sign off with this extraordinary piece by Bowie and Re-Mixed by LCD Sound System Major Domo James Murphy

"When I met him in his office in New York, I immediately understood: he was exactly the genius they had been talking about. Something unnatural. A charisma that left no room for doubt.

The Beatles count. The Black Sabbath, the Led Zeppelin, the Pink Floyd were huge — and in a certain sense inevitable. History was heading in that direction. Someone would come along.

Bowie didn't.

Bowie wasn't inevitable. He created something that wouldn't have existed without him.

And that's a huge thing."

| James Murphy, LCD Soundsystem

👉 At the time of the video release, the Columbia press release read: “filmed and edited by Bowie over the weekend, in his Manhattan studio. Total cost: $12.99 — the price of the USB stick purchased by Mr. Bowie to transfer the file.”
