LYRICS
Given the chance
I'll die like a baby
On some far away beach
When the season's over.
Unlikely
I'll be remembered
As the tide brushes sand in my eyes
I'll drift away.
Cast up on a plateau
With only one memory
A single syllable
Oh lie low lie low.

again bought when it came out on the album 'Here Come The Warm Jets' (I did the same with every Eno album and some singles too) but 'Baby's On Fire' fascinates as it illustrates to perfection Brian's interest and fascination with spontaneous combustion and the vernacular use of popular music's use of language terms like "baby' and being on 'fire' with passion, the extraordinary and fascinating language of love making if you will. His cover of the classic 'Fever' also covers this interest but I love his own lyricism and 'Baby's On Fire' is a classic illustration of this

Enjoy!
