I think I have said before but my brother really liked Wreckless Eric and me not so much ( bit of a one hit wonder to me!) but Steve went to see him live and that made a difference so I have always paid attention . . . . .he does always seem to effortlessly make me smile!

 My big brother loved Wreckless Eric and on Stiff Records too with Ian Dury et al so I paid attention but found him a bit of a one hit wonder. My long gone and sorely missed Steve bought the first albums too so heard someing maybe I didn’t but heck we loved this song! I searched the whole wide world . . . . . . . 

Route says "A very happy 70th birthday to Wreckless Eric, born as Eric Goulden in Newhaven, East Sussex on this day in 1954. When he was a young boy his mama said to him 'There's only one girl in the world for you, and she probably lives in Tahiti'.
