JOHN CALE

From Floppy Boot Stomp (where else) just lately they have linked to a superb set from John Cale and band back in '84 at the Alabamahalle in Munich Germany. FBS says this is from the original FBS archives (?) and says "I swear I've posted this before but can't find where. That's what happens after 10+ years of doing this." I didn't have it and would have from earlier postings but who knows? I don't but it most exceptional and really worth a listen. Cale at his best IMHO

FBS also posted this little gem here from the Old Grey Whistle Test in 85 with a favourite song, check out the band here, great drums and a wonderful guitar solo (from Ollie Hallsall I think) but accompanied on bass with a beautiful piece of work, John Cale can certainly assemble a fine fine band . . . . . . .
