THE OTHER SIDE OF SUMMER (LIVE) - ELVIS COSTELLO & THE RUDE 5

The poster on YouTube
lazy poker says:
"Here is Elvis Costello in his "Wild-hair-and beard" period of 1991 together with the musos who accompanied him at the time - Marc Ribot, Larry Knechtel, Jerry Scheff and Pete Thomas, collectively known as 'The Rude 5'. On July 10 they played a great set at the Montreux Casino.

This is the waltz-time rendition of "The Other Side Of Summer" from that performance. It has a completely different mood compared to the more sugary original (from "Mighty Like A Rose" featuring Elvis' "own version of the 'wall of sound'" - quote E.C.), and I always preferred this one. Watch out for the "Look at my eyes" moment at 1:52 . . . enjoy! "
