16 PINS - THE MISTAKES
1981
A brilliant little collision of punk attitude and pop instincts
The Mistakes were an all-female Oxford band whose brief recording career left behind this wonderfully catchy 1981 single.
Judy Parsons played drums and sang backing vocals in The Mistakes, before moving on to The Bodysnatchers and later The Belle Stars.
