David Bowie - Never Let Me Down Under (2 disc set) - Australia 1987 - Voodoo Wagon (A Jobe Special)

B   W   E

Check this out, it's quite extraordinary and with Peter Frampton on guitar at his best, (with Carlos Alomar of course)  David? . . . . not quite so much, close to burning out here but this is really worth checking out. Cocaine exhaustion? It's a thing! This is uncompromising Bowie on tour and at his best for the late eighties

Jobe at the Wagon says:

Here's a boot you don't see to often. David was kinda in bad shape, critical and fan wise, when he released "Never Let Me (Buy) Down" what with the disappointment of "Tonight"  The response to the album was minimal at best. However it did feature one of my favorite songs "Time Will Crawl" Peter Frampton is the guitar player on this along with Carlos Alomar. But wait hold on to your original pressings as the song "Too Dizzy" has disappeared from all subsequent releases. See Scans

Intro : Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze by a String Quartet as an opener?! Deciding to challenge his audience is hardly surprising but the one thing cocaine does do is not exactly lend itself well to our critical faculties this is well over the top and eccentric if you ask me . . . . . . BUT . . . . . . . . Enjoy it? I most certainly did!
