Sounds for a Sunny Day - CLIFTON CHENIER 'Boppin' The Rock'

Being it is so HOT approaching 40 degrees today (touching 36 at present here and likely to be the hottest day ever on record) and whilst I bet it is hotter down on the Louisiana Bayou what we need to cool down is some Zydeco! I used to listen to a lot of Clifton Chenier and others and was introduced to it by my old friend John Northcote who ran Sunshine Records here in Oxford before going on to bigger and better things (Virgin records and then clubs and venues like Break For The Border and then Brixton Academy etc) I miss him . . . . . .
