Friday you say? Well, we ALL need some cheering up I reckons, you danged pesky varmints!

Patsy Montana - “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart”

I want to ride o'er the plains and the desert

Out west of the great divide

I want to hear the coyotes howlin'

While the sun sets in the West

Some joker posted this on Facebook and it tickled me!

Having heard the catch in the yodelling throat of those wonderful gals in Tuba Skinny singing ‘Blue' t’other day I though we’d have some proper full on yodelling!

[Written by Patsy Montana in 1934...The Melody is Derived from Stuart Hamblen's "TEXAS PLAINS” and recorded suitably (of course) in New York!!]
